President Donald Trump didn’t waste time showing the world that America is back—and the terrorist thugs known as the Houthis are finding that out the hard way.
According to a new Newsweek analysis, U.S. airstrikes under Trump’s renewed “America First” doctrine have wiped out at least 82 Houthi officers and more than 120 fighters since mid-March. That’s right: in just over a month, Trump’s military strikes have taken a massive bite out of Iran’s favorite terror proxy in Yemen.
And the truth is, it’s working—no matter how much the corporate media wants to downplay it.
Despite the Houthis’ desperate attempts to spin the situation, they can’t deny the body count. Newsweek reviewed funeral videos, public announcements, and official death tallies—and the numbers tell the real story: the Trump administration’s precision strikes are cutting deep into the Houthi ranks.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) proudly reports more than 800 Houthi targets have been struck: command facilities, drone manufacturing sites, weapons depots—you name it. Hundreds of Houthi fighters and multiple commanders have been sent to meet their maker. And judging by the death chants at these elaborate Houthi funerals, they know exactly who is bringing the pain: America.

Unlike the feckless Biden administration, which spent years “condemning” Houthi terror with strongly worded tweets, Trump pulled the trigger. He’s not negotiating with terrorists. He’s not tiptoeing around “international norms.” He’s dropping American steel on the heads of those who fire missiles at our Navy and commercial vessels. It’s called leadership—and it’s something the world desperately needed.
The Houthis, who proudly shout “Death to America, Death to Israel” at every funeral, have been one of the biggest threats to global commerce. Their attacks in the Red Sea have endangered shipping lanes that carry billions of dollars of goods—causing ripple effects that hit American families and businesses. President Trump made it crystal clear: If you threaten the free movement of trade, you will pay a price in blood.
The Houthis are scrambling. They admitted losing four top commanders: Brigadier General Hamdan al-Jabali, Colonels Zain al-Abidin al-Muhtouri, Ibrahim al-Ashmouri, and Jabr Mabkhout al-Dhabi. Even their mouthpieces at Al-Masirah TV couldn’t hide the fact that over 200 funerals have been broadcast since March.
Of course, the Houthis are trying to save face, claiming that their losses are “small” compared to past battles. They sound like a boxer bragging about surviving the first round—while flat on the mat.
And while the Biden State Department would’ve begged Iran to rein in their proxies with a pallet of cash, Trump’s Pentagon under Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is speaking a different language: force. Hegseth laid it out plainly at the Army War College: America’s mission is to “execute lethal operations” against these terrorists, restore freedom of navigation, and defend U.S. interests with “ruthlessness, full stop.”
The Houthis have escalated their drone and missile attacks in response, but make no mistake: they are bleeding leadership, morale, and capability. And if the reports of a looming ground offensive backed by U.S. forces are true, they haven’t even seen the worst of it yet.
This is what winning looks like. No endless wars. No nation-building. Just devastating, targeted operations against those who dare to cross the United States of America.
Under President Trump, our enemies don’t get lectures—they get destroyed. And judging by the endless parade of caskets draped in Houthi propaganda, the message is getting through loud and clear.
