Winsome Sears: ‘You Are Looking at the American Dream’

Winsome Sears became the first black female Lt. Gov. in Virginia’s history this week, telling supporters, “You are looking at the American dream.”

The resounding victory speech pushed back on the victimhood mentality of the left that suggests Republicans somehow oppress women and minorities.

Instead, a black woman who happens to be conservative is now second in command of the Commonwealth State. This is not victimhood. This is victory.

The story gets better. Sears was an immigrant, starting from a humble beginning. She has also served in the military, proudly serving the nation.

But since she happens to be conservative, she won’t even “count” for many on the left. She’ll be called a white supremacist even if she’s not white (like Larry Elder) and could be called a pawn of the left, or even worse.

Sears rejects the liberal narrative and the liberal media has rejected her. She appeared on a Fox News interview and challenged liberal black MSNBC host Joy Reid to invite her on the show. So far, no response. Not a shock, but it does show that it’s not just about race. It’s about an agenda, and one Sears is out to change.

Watch it all now for the motivating speech that every American needs to hear.
