During a White House Press Briefing on Monday, Jen Psaki signaled that the Biden Administration would support state and/or local governments mandating the vaccine.
Dr. Anthony Fauci recently said, “There should be more mandates. There really should be. We’re talking about a life and death situation. We’ve lost 600,000 Americans already and we’re still losing more people.”
Psaki remarked, “There will be decisions made by private sector entities, by universities, by educational institutions, and even perhaps by local leaders should they decide that it is how to keep their community safe, if they decide to make that decision, we certainly support them in that step.”
Is this really the approach America will take? Are we going to allow businesses and schools and even local communities to decide whether we will be required to take the COVID-19 vaccine?
Several states led by conservatives have already implement laws against vaccine passports. In other words, it is illegal to require proof of a vaccine for school or business purposes.
But other locations have taken the opposite approach. Some universities are now requiring the vaccine, or are at least charging more to students who do not take it.
In addition, many business are making rules that are different for those with and without the vaccine, which is literally a violation of health privacy laws.
Watch and see what the White House says is coming. Be prepared, as it’s not a fun future for those who appreciate their freedom.
