It often seems like it’s the other way around with leftists. They really want to spread lies and hide the truth when they say that they would like to stop the spread of false information. They say they just want people to be accepting of other religions and cultures, but they work to make organizations that are the least tolerant you can think of. People who say they are seeking to “fortify” an election mean they intend to make sure a certain outcome happens.
Since January 6, they have been screaming that they need to protect democracy while doing many things to hurt it, as Tucker Carlson and Victor Davis Hansen explain so well in the most recent Tucker on X. Tucker said the following in his speech:
“The fact that liberals are now saying they want to end American democracy is the clearest sign that they really do.”
“The United States will have a national election that begins thirteen months from this week. People can choose which candidate to vote for in a democracy. That is not merely a feature of the voting method; it’s what makes it unique. The people are in charge. They are in charge, so they are able to send anybody to Washington that they prefer.”
“But this election season, liberals have made the decision to take Trump’s name off of ballots all over the country to protect democracy.” Trump is the clear favorite to be president. In the polls right now, he’s ahead of Joe Biden. But lefties think you shouldn’t be able to choose him as president. That isn’t a democracy. The opposite is true. It means totalitarianism.”
They are trying to keep Trump from running for office by “a legal barrage against Trump that currently includes an overall total of 91 felony counts, all of which are politically motivated.”
The civil “fraud” hearing that began today in New York is part of this attack. Tucker gave an explanation:
“In some of them, Trump is charged with exaggerating the worth of the collateral used to get loans, which he has already repaid with interest. What this means is that no one is hurt in this case. Even though the largest financial institutions in the world saw the risk, they made money and no one was scammed. Trump and his kids are about to lose their houses and companies because of this non-crime.”
At the very least, Nick Arama wrote that both New York AG Letitia James and Justice Arthur Engoron behaved badly in court today. James kept giving Trump the stink eye, while Engoron posed and mugged for the cameras. Carlson showed the video of Engoron enjoying his close-up.

“Look at that judge! He is performing like he is acting in a middle school play, grinning and shining for the camera. Arthur Engoron is very happy to be on MSNBC. It makes me sick.”
“There is no court case going on here. This is an awful spoof of the system our ancestors set up, which was the best in the world but has been taken over by power-hungry people like Arthur Engoron in recent years. Right now is a dangerous time. People won’t follow the rules if there isn’t a real justice system, and the country will fall apart.”
