Former President Trump worked at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania as a candidate for president. He was the first candidate for president to work at the fast-food chain.
The Trump team put video online on Sunday afternoon showing Trump putting fries in the famous boxes. There was also video of him taking off his suit jacket and putting on a yellow and gray apron.
As he ate a lot of french fries, Trump said, “You got the salt on it, never touches a human hand, nice and full.”
Trump was asked what his best McDonald’s order is while he was putting on his apron. He said, “I like it all; I like every ounce of it.”
Trump’s team also put up a video of him working the drive-thru, giving customers their orders, and shaking their hands. His words, “This is fun,” and his promise that he “might come back” to work the job again were heard.
Online videos of Trump fans waiting in line to see the former president work at the famous fast-food chain were shared before his visit.
His visit is a jab at Kamala Harris’s claims that she used to work at McDonald’s when she was younger. Trump wrote on Truth Social that he called the restaurant company and they can “definitely” say she never worked for them.
Trump told the person behind the drive-thru, “I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala. She’s never worked here.”

Trump will not only work at McDonald’s during his trip to Pennsylvania, which is one of the most important states in the Electoral College, but he will also watch the Pittsburgh Steelers play the New York Jets on Sunday night. A spokesman for the Steelers, Burt Lauten, confirmed Trump’s visit. He wrote on X that the team is working with the Secret Service and local officials to make sure everyone who is there is safe.
Trump told the press in the McDonald’s drive-thru that he is excited for the game on Sunday night because it should be “a great game.” He also said that the Steelers have “a great coach.”
