Former President Trump put out an ad that showed how much he cares about America’s auto workers and how Biden has “turned his back” on these people.
“They work for American car companies.” The ad’s announcer says, “They contributed to the development of our country and keep us moving, and we have always been able to depend on them in war, prosperity, peace, and hard times.”
“But their only goal in life has been to compete fairly on a global scale and claim their rightful place in the American dream. Donald Trump calls them great Americans and has consistently had their backs, whether it was cutting taxes for their families or even playing hardball with China,” the narrator said. “Biden, on the other hand, has decided to turn his back on the auto workers by making a deal involving the use of American tax dollars for the purpose of helping fund China’s electric car business.”
“American auto workers hold a deep emotional attachment to that, and they have faith in President Trump to address it,” the narrator said in the video, which Trump had authorized.
The ad comes out at the same time that UAW workers are on strike against Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis.
“We are prepared to go all out if necessary,” stated Shawn Fain, president of UAW. “Everything is out on the table.”

“The UAW group speaks for about 150,000 American car workers. The green plan of President Biden is a big worry for autoworkers, whose good jobs are being lost because Biden is pushing for a quick switch to electric vehicles (EVs), which don’t need as many workers to make as gas-powered vehicles. The Big Three executives have benefited greatly from the EV tax incentives under Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), but autoworkers are seeing their salaries cut as a result of the EV adoption,” according to Rebecca Mansour, senior editor at large for Breitbart.
In an attempt to deflect attention from the second Republican primary debate, Trump has persisted in voicing his support for autoworkers and has even scheduled a meeting with them in Detroit, Michigan.

“This all-electric car SCAM is selling United Autoworkers down the ‘drain.’ Under Crooked Joe’s CHINA FIRST POLICY, they will be made in China,” Trump said this week on Truth Social.
“AUTOWORKERS, VOTE FOR TRUMP. I WILL MAKE YOU WIN AND GET RICH. VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE NOW IF YOUR ‘LEADERS’ WON’T BACK ME. If the Democrats and Crooked Joe are in charge, you won’t have a job or money in 4 years. Remember that Biden is a crook who has already been paid millions of dollars by China and other countries. He is a Manchurian Candidate!!!” Trump advised.
