Watch: Trump’s CNN Town Hall Turns Into Smashing Success

When discussing Ashli Babbit’s shooting during the CNN town hall, another reporter, Jennifer Oliver O’Connell quoted former president Donald Trump as labeling the officer who shot her a “thug.”

The conversation Trump had with Kaitlan Collins this week, made two things very evident.

She was a lousy interviewer, to start with. I have no idea who told her to keep trying to run over Trump. She failed to silence Trump, and by interrupting repeatedly, she also gave herself a very negative impression.

Trump also had the crowd in the palm of his hand, which was another factor. He got them applauding multiple times during the interview since he was in excellent shape. Some may have questioned his appearance on CNN given his frequent criticism of the network. But I believe there is one thing you can say regarding it: He demonstrated that he was brave and ready to answer any query from a source that has previously criticized him. Not only did they fail in their assault on him, but Collins’ responses also gave him the upper hand and made them look bad.

There were many fascinating aspects of the conversation, but I just wanted to highlight three. The audience’s response was something else, as they were enthralled by what he had to say.

One of the most intriguing was maybe Collins’ assertion that he ignored calls from Jan. 6 when rioting was taking place, which was a typical Democrat fabrication. The receipts that showed Trump had urged nonviolence even the day before were then dumped on her.

Then, when the riots began, he sent out a tweet urging them to stop and issued a statement urging them to stay calm. Being Trump, he slipped a promotion for his website Truth Social in.

As we have previously documented, prior to the outbreak of any kind of violence, he told his rally crowd that he wanted them to behave “peacefully as well as patriotically.”

He asserted that would never have occurred under him when questioned about Ukraine, and I believe it to be true.

Vladimir Putin believed he could get away with it because he recognized Joe Biden’s vulnerability on the issues of Afghanistan and Nord Stream 2.

When Trump announced he wants to stop the war, there were loud applause.

But maybe his reaction of the evening was when, during the interview over the issue of sensitive papers, he just turned around and charged at Kaitlan Collins, refusing to let her roll over him. The crowd enjoyed it when he branded her a “nasty person” after he called her out for not allowing him to speak.

Additionally, he made note of how the media is preoccupied with him while disregarding the sensitive information that Joe Biden had illegally gathered even before he was elected president.

Although Trump is being attacked by the Democrats from a variety of legal angles, he seemed to be totally focused on all the crucial points he needed to address in the interview. He swept CNN’s timepiece.

CNN, who had probably planned to catch Trump, managed to appear foolish in the meanwhile.
