RedState previously reported that Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden showed up with his “bong-ripping” attorney, Kevin Morris, in a Delaware courthouse this week for a hearing on what was initially intended to be the acceptance of a sweetheart plea agreement on tax fraud charges and a weapons crime. But in a stunning development to that narrative, it seems the plea bargain is off.
And in the middle of that shocking discovery, an oddity regarding Hunter Biden’s arrival to the courthouse—specifically, the enormous convoy that was surrounding him—was brought to light.
JUST IN: Hunter Biden arrives via motorcade to a Delaware courthouse. He is expected to plead guilty to multiple federal crimes.

Questions were asked right away.
Contributing editor for the Spectator Stephen L. Miller questioned, “Why does he ride in a motorcade?”
“The White House and the mass media gave me the notion that Hunter Biden is a private individual. And ordinary people don’t ride in motorcades the size of elected leaders!” Curtis Houck, managing editor of Newsbusters, added his observation.
Remember that Hunter Biden is actually a “private citizen” who travels in a taxpayer-funded, six-car motorcade from and to appointments. His illegal activity is unrelated to his corrupt father, whose name he utilized to demand shakedown money from foreign oligarchs.
In fact, Hunter Biden has frequently been described as a “private citizen” who is free to engage in overseas business operations and pursue a career in the arts, and other activities. But he is surrounded by Secret Service security when it comes to his vehicle for what was perhaps one of his most significant appointments ever.
Fair enough, the Secret Service is permitted to provide protection for the President’s as well as the Vice President’s children.
However, the Secret Service’s FAQ does serve to illustrate the point. In other words, whatever Biden’s sycophants in and outside of the White House may assert, the nation’s presidents as well as vice presidents’ children scarcely qualify as “private citizens.” And although adult children of these leaders are undoubtedly fair game for inspection, little children of these officials are often off-limits to the press and critics, especially when they reach the level of conduct that Hunter Biden is claimed to have done.
