Watch: Crime Wave Sweeps Over America, New Tactics Used

According to the New York Post, authorities unveiled a video that showed an armed robbery at a Gucci shop in Manhattan.

According to the New York Post, the video showed three people rushing the Gucci shop in Lower Manhattan while brandishing guns. At around 12:10 p.m., a lady and two males flashed a gun, telling store employees to get on the ground while they robbed the company. The robbers reportedly made their getaway in a Honda CRV, according to witnesses. Authorities have not yet released any comprehensive details of the people involved, and they are still looking for the suspects.

The premium store had to close for the rest of the day due to the impact of the crime. According to authorities, the heist was completed in a matter of minutes, and $50,000 worth of goods were taken, as CBS News reported.

Numerous people expressed their worries about the rising crime rates that afflict the city’s retail industry.

According to Brianne Bailey, “the industry’s thievery is worse than it’s ever been,” as stated in a New York Post article. “Retailers already struggle to keep talented employees, and this will only make the situation worse. It’s merely depressing.

Amy Jo Aikele, a customer, also voiced her worries about the staff.

“I’m not sure if I’m thinking, ‘Oh my god! According to the New York Post, Aikele stated, “I’m concerned because it’s New York and this stuff occurs all the time.” “I’m sorry for the employees. Workers at these establishments don’t make a lot of money, so now they have to deal with this? I don’t think anyone should have to be terrified to go to work; they’re just trying to make money and perform their jobs.
