Don Lemon just couldn’t help himself. In a jaw-dropping exchange on Real Time with Bill Maher, the former CNN host let his true feelings slip: Black people who support Trump can’t be “sincere” or “rational.”
That’s right—according to Lemon, Black Americans in the MAGA movement aren’t thinking for themselves; they’re just chasing TV spots. Never mind that Trump gained more Black and Hispanic support than any Republican since Reagan. Never mind that under Trump, Black unemployment hit record lows, opportunity zones flourished, and criminal justice reform actually happened—things Democrats have promised for decades but never delivered.
When Maher challenged Lemon’s ridiculous claim, asking if he truly believed Black Republicans couldn’t be sincere, Lemon doubled down: “I don’t think you can be Black, be MAGA, and be rational at the same time.”
Wow. Just wow.
This is the Democratic playbook: attack, smear, and delegitimize any minority who dares to step off the liberal plantation. They can’t afford for Black and Hispanic Americans to wake up and realize they’ve been taken for granted. That’s why they mock, shame, and ostracize anyone who strays from the leftist narrative.
But here’s the reality: Black and Hispanic support for Trump is rising fast, and that has Democrats in full-blown panic mode. Trump saw huge gains among minority voters in 2020, especially in states like Florida and Texas, and those numbers have only grown since. Why? Because the people most affected by Biden’s failed economy, crime surges, and open-border chaos aren’t the rich elites on MSNBC—it’s everyday Americans in Black and Hispanic communities.
Lemon and the leftist elites can keep sneering, but the truth is simple: More and more minority voters are realizing that Trump’s policies actually helped them, while the Democrats just throw them slogans and race-baiting nonsense. The days of the Democratic Party’s monopoly on minority voters are coming to an end.
