Watch: MAGA Energy Explodes – Trump Rally Breaks Records

Former President Donald Trump’s rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, on Saturday drew a sizable audience; following the event, the official number of observers in attendance was revised to include more than 100,000 people.

Not long before the event, a top Trump campaign adviser informed Breitbart News that the projected turnout was 80,000, but that figure was obviously wrong.

According to Lisa Fagan, the city of Wildwood’s spokesperson, the official number was between 80,000 and 100,000 people who attended the gathering to watch Trump:

After the event started, Fagan revised her official estimate to start telling people there were more than 100,000 people waiting to see Trump, a Trump campaign insider told Breitbart News.

The excitement in Wildwood was evident hours before Trump was due to speak, and NJ.com reports that the outdoor arena there can hold up to 40,000 people.

Daniel Baldwin, the national political correspondent for One America News, posted a video of the crowded event and mentioned that 80,000 people were reportedly in attendance at the demonstration on the Jersey Shore, according to one source. Diana Glebova of the New York Post also reported the number, referencing the Trump campaign.

“We are in Wildwood with hundreds upon thousands of people. Around midday, Baldwin remarked, “It makes me think of Pickens, South Carolina, when President Trump welcomed 50,000 people for the Fourth of July. “In New Jersey, history is repeating itself.”

In a tweet, Chair of Students for Trump Ryan Fournier underlined, “I have never seen a gathering like this in my life.”

The Trump event in Wildwood, New Jersey, is going to be huge. 40,000+ was anticipated,” he continued.

Many started lined up as early as Wednesday, according to NJ.com, and thousands of people were waiting in line to enter the arena on Saturday morning.

Trump initially announced his intention to make a “strong push” for New Jersey and other historically blue states to Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow and Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle back in December.

Trump declared, “I am going to make a major push for New York, New Jersey, Virginia, New Mexico, and a heavy play for a state that has not won in years, Minnesota.” “One of the other things I’m going to do—and I may be dumb for doing it.”

We have added more material to this page since the official estimations became available.
