Watch: GOP Event Invaded By Climate Protesters

Protesters against climate change broke out into a brawl at a dinner honoring Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.

Late last week in Washington, D.C., Murkowski was speaking at the Bryce Harlow Foundation’s awards presentation.

Abruptly, a dozen or more campaigners against climate change stormed the stage. Those on stage fought off the demonstrators against climate change. The video shows the demonstrators falling off the stage. Slowly, Murkowski leaves the scene as the altercation turns physical.

Climate Defiance is an alarmist group that includes the protestors.

On social media, Climate Defiance said, “We just ended a spectacular celebration of U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski.” Murkowski slaughters people. She burns us alive to benefit her friends. We intervened and called off the ceremony as Chevron’s chief lobbyist was presenting her with an award. Treat us with decency or anticipate us.”

“Murkowski bills herself as a moderate, but in reality, she is an ecocidal pyromaniac,” the group continued. She battled valiantly to allow big oil access to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Is there anything that is not sacred?

Once the demonstrators had left the venue, Murkowski concluded her remarks.

Over 4 million people have watched the footage of the climate crisis protestors storming the stage.

The climate change group, based in Washington, D.C., states: “We do not accept petitions. We take direct action. We will save ourselves if the powerful fail to do so. There is not an option.”

The organization feels that “traditional strategies will not cut it.”

The goals of Climate Defiance include mobilizing “disruptive direct action to compel politicians,” putting a halt to the extraction of fossil fuels on federal lands, and demonstrating support for “sister struggles for racial and economic justice.”

Protesters against climate change have interfered with events featuring Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo.

In December, the adversarial organization received an invitation from the Biden administration to meet with John Podesta, President Joe Biden’s senior renewable energy advisor, at the White House.

Regarding the meeting, Climate Defiance stated, “We appreciate you coming to see us today. We are grateful that you are prepared to consider our serious concerns. As millions of Americans have said themselves, We write to you in the latter stages of the greatest threat to humanity ever: the collapse of society and the earth as a result of continuing to use fossil fuels.”
