Thousands of people flocked to former President Donald Trump’s next event in Michigan, just one week after a would-be assassin attempted to assassinate him at his Butler, Pennsylvania, rally, killing hero fireman Corey Comperatore and badly wounding two more people.
Dan Scavino, a top aide to Trump, posted footage of the former president getting ready to board Trump Force One and travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for his first rally with Senator JD Vance (R-OH), his newly announced running mate, as well as his first rally since the assassination attempt.
“President Trump is boarding Trump Force One right now to travel to the wonderful state of Michigan for a rally in gorgeous Grand Rapids!” He shared the video on X along with it.
Videos and pictures captured the throngs of Trump fans in Grand Rapids who were eager to meet the former president in spite of the recent attempt on his life.
“It’s 10:30 a.m. There is an enormous crowd waiting to see @JDVance1 and President Trump. Only a few thousand. “Michigan is sending a message,” Daniel Baldwin of OANN wrote.
“This is a week after President Trump was shot at, said a 20-year-old voter from Michigan, who was present at the Trump event today. That alone is absurd. “I am confident he will defend our nation,” Baldwin continued.
“Tonight, President Trump and VP candidate @JDVance1 will have their first rally since the horrible assassination attempt — in Grand Rapids, Michigan,” said former assistant secretary of the Treasury Monica Crowley. There are already many waiting. There’s never been such ferocity or intensity. Amazing.
A Life News post said, “A lot of chanting of ‘Fight! Fight! Fight!'”
About three hours before the concert began, hundreds of people were occupying the seats inside the arena.

A message from Real America’s Voice stated, “America is not terrified.” “Hundreds of first-time participants among the thousands tell @BenBergquam that there is no need to be afraid of President Trump’s first public rally following his assassination attempt last week.”
