Watch: Biden Snaps At Reporter When Asked This Simple Question

A reporter asked President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris this week why they were not in Washington, D.C., overseeing the federal government’s reaction to Hurricane Helene, which killed at least 100 people in the southeast of the country over the weekend. Biden gave a snarky answer.

Someone from the news asked Biden, “Mr. President, why weren’t you and Vice President Harris here in Washington this weekend in charge of the hurricane?”

Biden yelled, “I was in charge. I was on the phone for at least two hours yesterday and the day before that as well. It’s called a telephone.”

After spending the weekend at his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Biden came back to Washington, D.C., on Sunday afternoon.

On the other hand, Vice President Kamala Harris held events in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas over the weekend up on the West Coast.
