Watch: AOC Humiliates Herself With Strange Accent

In her speech on the first day of the DNC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), a Democrat from New York, became the latest Democrat to use an awkward new southern accent.

AOC said, “I am sick and tired of hearing about a union buster who thinks he is more of a fighter than the woman who works to lift hard-working people from under the boots of greed that stomp on our way of life.” She did this while waving her finger to make the point more dramatic.

During her long speech at the DNC, Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) used a new fake southern accent, which got her in trouble on social media as people mentioned her performance.

“AOC showed off her fake accent tonight… It is just… weird,” one person wrote on X.

“AOC uses the ‘fake’ Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris southern black voice!” said another.

Many Democratic politicians have used the southern accent in the past to try to appeal to people from the south.

Vice President Kamala Harris recently changed her voice to sound more southern for a campaign speech in Atlanta, Georgia.

He said in a southern drawl, “And all of you helped us win in 2020, and we’re going to win in 2024.”

AOC’s speech was one of many that helped start the first day of the DNC event, which lasted four days. Former Presidents Obama and Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, VP candidate Tim Walz, and presidential hopeful Kamala Harris all spoke.
