President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey strongly criticized Israel in a threatening speech he gave at a large pro-Palestinian protest in Istanbul this week. He seemed to suggest that his country might actually go to war over the conflict.
He blamed the West for starting the war between Israel and Hamas and called Israel an “occupier.” He made a terrifying threat: The Turkish military may “come at any time unexpectedly.”
Israelis were outraged by President Erdogan’s words, which caused Israel to pull its foreign presence. Erdogan said that attacks on Gaza were a “massacre.”
He is said to have said that Turkey could “come on any given night unexpectedly” during the same speech, which hundreds of thousands of people loved.
The video is going around on X, which used to be Twitter, and it seems to show the pro-Palestine crowd reacting by chanting “Turkish military to Gaza.”
According to a pundit covering the demonstration, the Turkish president’s address was “by far one of the strongest speeches that we’ve heard.”
Erdogan went on to say that Hamas wasn’t a terrorist group, even though they were responsible for the brutal surprise attack on citizens on October 7.
“I say it again: Hamas isn’t a terrorist group. This made Israel very angry. Erdogan made his point clear this week: “Israel acts as an occupier. Turkey doesn’t owe you anything at all,” he informed hundreds of thousands of followers.
“The West is mainly to blame for the terrible events happening in Gaza,” Erdogan said.
It’s not clear how the West is to blame when Hamas killed hundreds of people at a music event, cut off the heads of babies, and did other horrible things. As protests for the Palestinian cause happen all over the world, this kind of talk will only make things worse.
As I said earlier in the week, Israel’s military actions in the Gaza Strip have grown a lot, and thousands of people are said to have died. Many of the numbers that have been reported in the news, though, come from Hamas. As we learned with the fake Israeli hospital bombing, we aren’t able to trust those numbers.
In case you missed this today: World War Three Building. Speaking at a massive pro-Palestine rally, the President of Turkey, Erdogan, said, “We can come at any night unexpectedly.” The crowd chanted, “Turkish military to Gaza!” Israel has pulled Ambassadorpic.twitter.com/vKRjQoFy8f

Bloomberg said it would take a while for the war to end:
“Israel broadened its ground operations throughout the Gaza Strip this past week as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu forewarned of a ‘long and hard’ regarding Hamas and Israel” Daniel Hagari, a spokeswoman for the Defense Forces, stated, “We are moving forward in all phases of the war as planned.”
