Video: White House Struggles To Avoid This Question About The Biden Family

This week, the White House declined to recognize President Biden’s sixth grandchild.

What is the history?

The complex bond that Hunter Biden’s family has with Lunden Roberts, a woman with whom he has a 4-year-old daughter, was the subject of an exposé that the New York Times reported this week. The president as well as the first son, according to that tale, have never met the young girl.

Surprisingly, the report also stated that White House employees are told to declare that Biden has six grandkids rather than seven, essentially denying the existence of Hunter’s youngest daughter.

“President Biden is another option. His love for his family, particularly for Hunter, his lone surviving son, dominates his public image. According to two individuals with knowledge of the talks, in recent years, aides have been informed that the Bidens had six, not seven, grandkids.”

What was said by the WH?

This week, a question was put to press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on the incident and, more significantly, if President Biden “recognizes this little girl as his grandchild.”

But the response seemed to back up the New York Times report.

Jean-Pierre sneered, “I do not have anything to contribute from here.”

Biden claimed three months ago that he chats to his grandkids every day, establishing his credentials as a dedicated family guy. Even though there are seven, according to his count, there are only six.

“I have six grandkids. And I just adore them. And I communicate with them daily. It’s not a joke,” he claimed in April, saying that the reason his grandkids are “so crazy” with him is because “I devote so much attention to them.”

Roberts claims that despite getting the cold shoulder, Joe Biden’s youngest granddaughter remains “proud” of him.

According to Roberts, “She is really proud of who her grandfather is as well as who her father is. I really believe it, and I would never let her have any doubts about it.”
