Trump’s town hall interview with Sean Hannity was very different from Kamala Harris’s fake CNN interview with Tim Waltz. One thing is for sure: Trump is great at going off script. He’s not afraid to be real and honest. Not only that, but Trump went on for a lot longer than the 16 minutes and 30 seconds Kamala gave us.
When the 16-minute and 30-second mark came up, Hannity joked that the interview was over. Trump then used the chance to say what he thought of Kamala’s “performance.”
“She had notes with her during that interview. That means she knew how to answer.”
Because the vice president has only given a few public speeches and hasn’t done any true live interviews or even answered questions without a script, Trump is right to criticize her.
After a lot of waiting, the “interview” we got was actually a pre-recorded fake with a reporter who didn’t really ask her any questions and a helper there to encourage her. Now, Trump says, we don’t even know if the questions were picked ahead of time to begin with. Is there anything real about this interview?
Who is Kamala? We’re not sure. What does she mean to do? We’re not sure. Is there something important she thinks about policy? We’re not sure. Harris seems to believe that a big smile and a loud laugh are enough to win.
HANNITY: "16 minutes and 30 seconds are up. Thank you for being with us!"
TRUMP: "She had notes! That means she knew the questions! She kept looking down! Nobody wants to cover it! I know ALL about notes!" pic.twitter.com/mw73EWK5tV

Trump talks about his views and plans in many different places across the country and for hours on end without any preparation, but Kamala has kept quiet. This is what makes them different. One might have flaws, but he is who he says he is. She is a carefully made chameleon. She won’t be able to hide when the argument starts.
