Trump joked during this week’s debate that he would send Vice President Kamala Harris a “MAGA hat” because she had changed her mind about some policies.
In his comment, Trump was talking about how Harris’s views have changed since her previous run for president in 2019 to be more like his.
“She has lost faith in everything she thought three and four years ago. She is now going to my philosophy class.” Trump said, “In fact, I was going to send her a MAGA hat.”
He then called Harris a “Marxist” and gave her the nickname “Comrade Kamala.”

Harris, on the other hand, told CNN that her “views have not changed.”
She went on to say that her main goals, such as fighting climate change and making the southern border safer, have stayed the same throughout her work.
