When a stand-up comedian made fun of transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, a group of liberal ladies thought it wasn’t funny at all.
Last week, a comedy performance at Hyenas in Dallas, Texas, featured stand-up comedian Chrissie Mayr as the main performer. Alex Stein of BlazeTV joined Mayr.
Dylan Mulvaney, the TikTok star of the contentious “Days of Girlhood” series and the focal point of the Bud Light controversy, was a hot-button issue throughout Mayr’s comic act.
Mulvaney was made fun of by Mayr for professing to be a girl for over a year but never committing to having gender transition surgery. Someone in the crowd screamed, “Because he’s a man!” when Mayr questioned Mulvaney about why he had not had a sex change procedure.
“No,” she screamed angrily, disagreeing with the other lady. “She is a woman.”
In response, Mayr said, “Uh oh, uh oh, we’ve got one of those.”
Then Mayr used a deceptive joke to mock the heckler, saying, “No, it’s all okay. It’s acceptable if we all have different opinions. Some of us are able to accept reality, while others are unable. We should respect each other’s differences of opinion since this is America.”
Outraged, the lady and her pals walked out of the comedy act. While leaving, one of the ladies said, “F*** you, transphobe!”
The audience cheered as the aggrieved liberal ladies left the performance.
Mayr said that when the ladies forcefully rushed out of the area, her merchandise table was knocked over. Additionally, she said that the ladies “went directly over to management in order to complain.”
“This is the conflict that occurs when it relates to comedy and Leftists,” Mayr concluded. “Simply said, it’s incompatible.”
The present political climate of humor, Mayr said to Fox News, “Can’t be had both ways. Leftists want to shape culture, but they also want to protect certain communities from mockery.”
Just FYI these “women” went straight to management to complain and then proceeded to stampede (knock over) my merch table

“If you believe in actual equality, then ‘punching down’ doesn’t exist.” The comedian said that “no group needs to be safe from getting made fun of. I’ll continue to make transgender and obese jokes because I like doing it and it’s obvious that others do as well.”
