In order to fabricate a terrifying scenario regarding a “bloodbath” in the event that Trump were to be unsuccessful in the 2024 presidential election, the corporate media twisted a remark that Trump made on the automotive sector.
Vandalia is a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, where Trump rallied on Saturday.
As part of his campaign platform, Trump has advocated measures to discourage Chinese automakers from setting up shop in Mexico, where labor is much cheaper, and then reselling their vehicles in the US.
The Chinese-made automobiles that pass via Mexico would be subject to a “100% tariff,” according to Trump’s campaign promise.
“If I am elected, we will impose a 100% tariff on any cars crossing the border, and you will not be able to sell those people,” Trump told Xi Jinping, the leader of China.
Now, if I am not elected, there will be widespread carnage—and that is going to be putting it mildly. The nation will see a horrific slaughter. Those things will pale in comparison. Unfortunately, the cars won’t sell.
The video footage was edited by the official war room social media account of President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign so that it only shows Trump saying: “Now, if I don’t get elected, it will be a blood bath for the whole” (that’s going to be the least of it). The nation will see a horrific slaughter. “That’s only the beginning.”
The mainstream media jumped on Trump’s use of the term “bloodbath” and twisted it to make it sound like he was inciting political violence if he lost the 2024 election.
“Trump warns of a ‘bloodbath’ if he is unsuccessful in the election,” NBC News headlined their story.
According to the NY Times, “Trump Says Some Migrants Aren’t People and Then Predicts a ‘Blood Bath’ if He Loses.” This was an attempt to sow fear.
“At an Ohio campaign rally, Trump threatens a ‘bloodbath’ in the event that he is unsuccessful in the November election,” CBS News said.
This is the headline that Politico used: “Trump predicts country faces ‘bloodbath’ if Joe Biden wins in November.”
An item from NPR had the headline: “Trump calls migrants ‘not humans,’ and predicts ‘bloodbath’ if he loses.”
If Trump is not reelected, there will be a “bloodbath,” and elections will cease, according to Rolling Stone.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Trump’s team has downplayed his threats of violence if he is not elected.
As he campaigns for the Republican candidate for the Ohio Senate, Donald Trump criticizes immigrants and threatens a “bloodbath,” according to USA Today’s headline.
“Trump claims some undocumented people are ‘not humans,’ and he threatens the US would experience ‘bloodbath’ if not re-elected,” The Hill noted.
“Trump claims ‘it’s going to be a slaughter’ if he does not get elected,” the Washington Examiner claimed.
With the headline: “Trump mentions ‘bloodbath’ for the auto sector and country if he loses,” CNN was surprisingly one of the few traditional networks that put Trump’s remarks in context.
In response to NBC News’s question on the former president’s “bloodbath” remarks, Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said, “Biden’s ideas would produce an economic bloodbath for the auto sector and autoworkers.”
Former California House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) responded to Trump’s “bloodbath” remark on Sunday by appearing on CNN.
A slaughter is even in his predictions. I don’t understand. He intends to unleash mayhem, right? It seems like something is off,” Pelosi remarked.
No matter how much I admire the kindness and generosity of the American people, I don’t think they’ll ever get over this behavior from him. Honestly, applauding the Russians and Hitler while denouncing our troops for their losses, captures, or deaths in battle.
Since the mainstream media falsely claims that Donald Trump warned of a "bloodbath" if he loses the 2024 election, I encourage you to listen to what he actually said and what he was referring to and draw your own conclusion: the automobile industry and the loss of jobs. Last week, a secondhand allegation from a former staff member surfaced, claiming that Trump had lauded Adolf Hitler.
“He felt Putin was an OK man and Kim was an OK guy — that we had forced North Korea into a corner,” said retired Gen. John Kelly, who was Trump’s chief of staff. He thought we were taunting the men. Some have speculated that Putin would refrain from such actions if NATO were not in place.
