Trump Slams Brakes on $50M Gaza Condom Giveaway

The Trump administration just threw a wrench into the Biden-era spending spree, putting a freeze on federal funds—including a ludicrous $50 million earmarked for condom distribution in Gaza.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made the bombshell announcement on Tuesday, revealing that Trump’s executive order aims to review and reallocate funds that don’t align with America First priorities. You can see her epic takedown of reporters, here.

But predictably, the left went into full meltdown mode, and a federal judge has already put a temporary block on Trump’s decision.

America First: Cutting Off Wasteful Foreign Aid

The freeze, which was originally set to take effect at 5:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, is part of a larger effort to ensure that taxpayer dollars aren’t being recklessly funneled into woke, globalist initiatives.

The review was spearheaded by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—a Trump-era creation now led by none other than Elon Musk—alongside the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

Leavitt didn’t mince words:

“$50 million in taxpayer money was about to go out the door to fund condoms in Gaza. That is a preposterous waste of taxpayer money.”

For context, condoms are part of so-called “humanitarian aid” distributed by organizations like the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)—which wasted no time crying foul. IPPF claimed the funding freeze would reverse “enormous gains” made in Gaza’s “sexual and reproductive healthcare.”

Seriously? After the October 7 Hamas terror attacks, this is what our government was prioritizing?

Rubio: “Every Dollar Must Serve the America First Agenda”

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio doubled down on Trump’s decision, stating that all foreign aid programs are under review to ensure they align with America First policies.

“If it doesn’t make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous, we’re not funding it,” Rubio said.

Of course, the Democrat outrage machine went into overdrive. Chuck Schumer held a meltdown press conference, raging that Trump had “shut off billions, perhaps trillions” of federal dollars that benefit state and local governments.

Naturally, his rant conveniently ignored the fact that Trump is simply reviewing where the money is going—something any responsible leader would do.

OMB Director: No More Marxist Spending, Transgenderism, or Green New Deal Nonsense

In a scathing memo obtained by Politico, OMB Acting Director Matthew Vaeth laid out the Trump administration’s no-nonsense approach to budget priorities:

“The use of Federal resources to advance Marxist equity, transgenderism, and Green New Deal social engineering policies is a waste of taxpayer dollars that does not improve the day-to-day lives of those we serve.”

Translation? No more taxpayer-funded leftist pet projects.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made it even clearer:

“This pause is focused on being good stewards of tax dollars.”

What’s Next?

A U.S. District Judge temporarily blocked the funding freeze—but the decision only lasts until Monday, February 3 at 5 p.m. ET.

Will Trump’s America First fiscal policy prevail? Or will the left-wing establishment keep funneling taxpayer money into nonsense programs that don’t serve Americans?

One thing’s for sure—the fight is just beginning.
