After fielding questions from reporters during one of her Black Voices For Kari “Ask Me Anything Tour” stops, Republican AZ gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake spent about two minutes lambasting the press over “election deniers.”
Lake traveled to Phoenix to meet with Jack Brewer about the forthcoming race.
Lake came to a halt after her address to answer questions regarding charges that she is an election skeptic. Lake produced many pages of “research” produced by a 20-year-old named Anthony documenting all the occasions Dems. denied election results.
“You did much better research than half of these individuals,” Lake said to Anthony before shifting her gaze to the crowd.
“Let us just discuss election deniers,” she remarked, holding out the papers. “Here are 150 cases of Democrats disputing election results. Wow, this came from Joe Biden’s communications secretary: ‘this is a reminder, Brian Kemp has stolen the governor’s race from Georgians and Stacey Abrams,’ a Dem. stating that, an election denier!”
“Oh look, I just heard Republican Ryan Costello say that it would be hard for Stacey Abrams to win since she lost her state campaign, but she’s still insisting she never lost.”
“Hillary Clinton: ‘Trump is really an illegitimate President,'” Lake remarked, holding up a copy of The Washington Post’s article about the former Secretary of State.
“So it’s acceptable for Dems. to doubt elections but not for Republicans? It’s a lot of BS, everyone recognizes it, we have our right to free speech, and we are not giving it up to a group of fake news propagandists,” Lake stated before handing out copies of the research to everyone.
Lake would not say Sunday whether or not she would accept the results of the race if she lost. “I’m going to win this election and accept the outcome,” Lake said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” Lake has also suggested that the 2020 race was rigged against the previous President Donald Trump.
During a debate in June, she also stated that Biden “lost the race and did not belong in the White House,” and added that the election was “corrupt.”
