Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) got a brutal lesson in hypocrisy this week — and it was long overdue.
During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, Democrats like Crockett came unhinged over Republican efforts to rein in the out-of-control, activist judges blocking President Trump’s America First agenda from the bench. These unelected black-robed radicals have become the Left’s favorite weapon — shutting down executive orders on everything from immigration to military policy with a single gavel slam.
But now that Republicans are finally pushing back — floating ideas like ending nationwide injunctions and impeaching partisan judges — suddenly the Left is crying about “rule of law.” Enter Jasmine Crockett, one of the loudest voices in the Squad-aligned wing of the Democratic Party, who tried to lecture Republicans on respecting judicial authority.

Yes, really.
“The problem right now is if we continue down this road, then we will not have a rule of law,” Crockett whined, clearly rattled that her party’s judicial activists are finally facing heat. “Because we have people serving, and they are currently saying things like ‘ignore the judge’s order.’”
“What it means to have law and order in this country is that you follow the order and go through the appeals process even if you dislike what the judge did!” she added, completely missing the irony dripping from her own statement.
Because here’s the kicker: This same Jasmine Crockett was one of the Democrats who proudly co-sponsored Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s ridiculous stunt last summer — a bill to impeach Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.
Let that sink in. When conservative justices dared to uphold the Constitution rather than rubber-stamp the Left’s radical agenda, Crockett wanted them thrown off the bench. But when Trump and Republicans suggest pushing back on activist lower court judges sabotaging the will of the people, Crockett suddenly finds religion on the “rule of law.”
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who chaired the hearing, wasn’t about to let that slide.
“I’m going to note that when Miss Ocasio-Cortez filed articles of impeachment against Justice Thomas and Alito, Miss Crockett was one of the co-sponsors,” Issa said. “It does seem interesting that when the shoe is on the other foot, everyone is self-righteous.”
Mic drop.
This is what Americans are sick and tired of — Democrats who scream about democracy while trying to erase any election result they don’t like. They want Trump locked up, his policies blocked, and conservative judges impeached — and then they have the audacity to lecture conservatives on law and order.
Crockett’s meltdown is a perfect snapshot of the modern Democratic Party: lawfare when it suits them, panic when the tables turn. And let’s not forget, this is the same Jasmine Crockett who recently mocked Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s disability — another tasteless stunt that her own allies on The View had to condemn.
Maybe it’s time someone reminded Crockett that public office comes with responsibility — not a TikTok platform for unhinged rants and political stunts.
What we’re seeing is that Trump and his America First movement have exposed the raw nerves of the radical Left. They’re losing control — and they know it. Their grip on the judiciary is slipping. Their fake moral superiority is cracking. And their loudest voices, like Jasmine Crockett, are getting exposed for the hypocrites they are.
