Tim Walz, the Democratic governor of Minnesota, did not answer when asked how he and Vice President Kamala Harris plan to lower prices.
Some people at the Trump War Room shared the video, which shows Walz sitting with a group of people. “What is your government going to do to bring prices down?” someone asked. “Please answer the question,” said someone else.
Walz didn’t answer the question at all, and the tape shows that the people who were in charge of him seemed to agree with him.
The hard truth is that both Harris and Walz won’t answer questions that aren’t on the script. This is becoming clear to many Americans. Even worse, Harris didn’t really talk about Bidenomics or price cuts in the one interview she did after becoming queen.
While Harris was talking about plans to reduce prices, CNN’s Dana Bash asked, “So, you’ve been Vice President for three-and-a-half years? Why haven’t you done these steps yet?”
Harris replied that the economy needed to “recover,” but that wasn’t true at all.
“Well, first we had to fix our economy, which we did. I’m very proud of the work we’ve done to bring inflation down to less than 3% and keep it at $35 a month for seniors,” she added.
Of course, Harris is wrong when she says the economy had to get better before she took office.
We checked the facts:
After the pandemic and lockdowns, the American economy was quickly getting back on its feet before Kamala Harris and Biden took office. In the 3rd quarter of 2020, the economy grew at a rate of 34.8 percent per year, according to the Department of Commerce. In the next quarter, it grew at a rate of 4.2% per year. That’s 5.2% growth every year for the first three months of 2021.
Unemployment was also going down quickly. It went up when authorities told businesses to close because of the virus. When Harris became Vice President, the unemployment rate had dropped from a high point of 14.8% in April 2020 to a low point of 6.4%.

The way the Trump government dealt with the pandemic did not make the economic problem worse through “mismanagement.” Instead, it stopped an economic disaster from happening.
Biden and Harris, on the other hand, have stuck to this lie and used it to back the $1.9-trillion American Rescue Plan, a bill that has made inflation worse to levels not seen in decades.
