Tesla Firebomber Arrested: FBI Says It’s Only the Beginning

In yet another example of leftist radicalism metastasizing on college campuses, a Boston-based college student was arrested after allegedly firebombing a Tesla dealership during spring break. This isn’t a scene from a dystopian novel — it’s Joe Biden’s America in 2025.

Nineteen-year-old Owen McIntire, a student in Boston, is facing federal charges for hurling a Molotov cocktail at two Tesla Cybertrucks parked at a Kansas City dealership on March 17. According to court filings, McIntire is charged with unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device and malicious damage by fire to property used in interstate commerce. In plain English: he lit American innovation on fire.

An alert Kansas City Police officer spotted smoke billowing from the dealership just before midnight. What he found was the charred remains of two high-end Tesla Cybertrucks, each worth over $105,000, and a nearby intact Molotov cocktail. The fire spread quickly, damaging a second vehicle and two Tesla charging stations. Thanks to the Kansas City Fire Department’s quick response, it didn’t get worse.

ATF agents and FBI investigators recovered damning video evidence showing a man believed to be McIntire lighting and tossing multiple incendiary devices. The suspect’s hat was later found near the scene, and forensic analysis confirmed his DNA on the item. That’s not activism. That’s arson.

This incident wasn’t just vandalism. It was a direct attack on a business that represents innovation, freedom, and entrepreneurship — the very values radicals seem determined to destroy. Tesla, now working hand-in-hand with President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, has become a favorite target of left-wing agitators who despise progress that doesn’t come with a rainbow sticker and an ESG score.

U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi didn’t mince words. “Let me be extremely clear to anyone who still wants to firebomb a Tesla property: You will not evade us. You will be arrested. You will be prosecuted. You will spend decades behind bars. It is not worth it,” she said.

FBI Director Kash Patel also weighed in, saying this was the second Tesla-related arson attack in just one week. “These actions are dangerous, they are illegal, and we are going to arrest those responsible.”

You won’t hear this story shouted from CNN or plastered on the homepage of The New York Times, because it doesn’t fit the left’s preferred narrative. A young radical, trained in the cesspools of academia, tries to burn down a dealership because it doesn’t align with his political views? That doesn’t just make headlines inconvenient — it makes them disappear.

This is the real threat to democracy: ideological extremism that turns into violence, all while being quietly encouraged by institutions that refuse to teach right from wrong. McIntire’s actions are a reflection of a broader cultural rot that celebrates chaos, vilifies innovation, and demonizes anyone who dares to support Trump, capitalism, or clean energy that doesn’t involve begging China for lithium.

Thankfully, law enforcement got this one right. But how many more McIntires are out there, roaming the streets, weaponized by a broken ideology that sees firebombs as justice?

This isn’t about Tesla. It’s about restoring order, respect for the law, and accountability for the radical left’s descent into madness.
