As Biden’s approval numbers continue to plummet, Campus Reform correspondent Logan Dubil traveled to the University of Pittsburgh to get student’s reactions.
After showing students his declining approval, many students weren’t surprised. “It doesn’t surprise me at all,” one student told Campus Reform.
“I kind of expected it, to be honest,” another said.
Some cited Biden’s immigration crisis and botched Afghanistan withdrawal for his disapproval. The act of leaving Americans behind to the Taliban was too much even for many college students.
Another concern is with Biden’s leadership of the economy. Inflation has grown quickly since he has taken office.
Others have noted the border crisis. More than 1.3 million illegal immigrants have crossed the southern border already in 2021.
Then there are Biden’s gaffes. While people previously made fun of Trump’s “billions and billions,” or his talk of “China, China, I love China,” Biden’s gaffes come already packaged.
Others are concerned about Biden’s ability to simply disappear during times of crisis. When Afghanistan experienced a bomb killing 13 soldiers, Biden was taking another weekend trip.
When 15,000 migrants crossed the border and set up camp under a bridge in Texas, Biden headed out for another vacation.
It’s no surprise to anyone, including today’s college students, that Biden’s approval has tanked. Check it out for the full reactions.
