Republicans Go To War With Each Other

Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) stated on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” on Monday that “swamp cartel” head Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) won’t be Speaker of the House.

“I’m not voting for Kevin McCarthy tomorrow,” Good remarked. “He is a contributor to the problem. He is not a contributor to the solution.”

“There is nothing that suggests to me that he’s going to alter his pattern since he has been in charge, in which he is part of the swamp cartel,” he continued. “On the Republican side, he is the reason we passed big omnibus spending measures that Republicans in the Senate pushed down our throats. He was a part of that in terms of leadership. Since he has been in charge for the last eight years, there is absolutely nothing at all about Kevin McCarthy that suggests that he will bring the needed change to Washington or the Congress, or that he would fight Biden and Schumer’s agenda and represent the best interests of the voters that sent us to Washington to bring us true change.”

“What we will do is obstruct Kevin,” he added.

“We will put out a true challenge contender on the second ballot,” Good said.
