Sen. Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, predicts that if former President Trump backs the foreign aid bills moving through the House, he will lose support.
“Trump will alienate the very fans that make up his vanguard if he backs this horrifying, unpaid debt buster in the form of foreign aid. Remember what I said,” Paul tweeted.
“I firmly support this package to get crucial support for Israel and Ukraine, give desperately needed humanitarian relief to Palestinians in Gaza, and boost security and stability in the Indo-Pacific,” stated President Joe Biden in a statement endorsing the initiatives.
The measures are a “wonderful product,” according to House Speaker Mike Johnson, and “far better” than the supplementary legislation that the Senate enacted earlier this year.
However, there is conflict among Republicans.
GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia put forth an amendment to the Ukraine-related bill that was being pushed alongside the other measures, stating that any legislator who votes in favor of the plan “will be obliged to conscript in the Ukrainian military.”
“I mean, if you want to fund the war, why do not you go fight in it?” tweeted Greene, who filed a move to vacate last month, in reference to Johnson. Be a supporter of Ukraine.”
If Trump supports this monstrous, unpaid for foreign aid debt buster, he will lose the very supporters who comprise his vanguard.

“The Attorney General is hereby allocated the total amount of appropriations made available by this Act to start removal proceedings against aliens without current lawful status under our immigration laws (as such term is given in Section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act)” is another amendment that the congresswoman proposed.
