A senior advisor to President Joe Biden said the quiet part out loud this week, celebrating the fact that people are out of jobs thanks to the administration’s reckless attack on the oil and gas industry.
As the Democrats are attempting to force a transition over to green energy, the adviser celebrated the destruction of jobs in America’s fossil fuel industry.
Speaking from the Aspen Ideas Festival, Biden’s climate advisor Gina McCarthy stated “We have opportunities now to transfer to clean energy in a way that grows thousands of jobs. We just had a recent report that is showing that all of the energy and the employment stats from last year. Clean energy is winning. Fossil fuels losing jobs.”
McCarthy is referring to a Department of Energy (DOE) report that reveals American oil producers lost more than 31,000 jobs last year, while American coal producers lost over 7,000 jobs.
McCarthy bragged about jobs created in the green energy industry – while failing to note that those sectors account for less than 20% of the country’s energy needs as a whole.
McCarthy has also previously demanded that anyone who dare criticize this forced green energy transition be immediately silenced and censored.
The administration has spent two years trying to “end” the fossil fuel sector and now we are all paying the price as they openly brag about it.
This is all a part of their plan, and they’re making it clear they don’t care who gets hurt in the process – they are forcing their climate agenda.
