The Russian government has expressed anger about a recent drone strike on the Senate Palace in the Kremlin, the home of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and has accused the Biden administration of organizing the operation.
The Russian president managed to escape the drone hit unharmed, according to the Kremlin, which also said that “Russia reserves the right to take countermeasures, wherever and whenever it considers appropriate.”The drone attack, characterized as an assassination attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin, was carried out by two drones, which can be seen in newly released footage flying straight into the Kremlin before being shot down by its air defenses.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promptly denied any involvement in the assaults, declaring, “We do not attack Putin or Moscow.” He then said, “We fight in our territory. We are protecting our towns and communities. We don’t have enough weaponry to deal with them.”
However, due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, Ukraine was blamed for the incident. But the blame has shifted.
Russia has now directly accused the Biden administration of organizing the attack, with Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov saying, “Attempts to deny this, from both Kyiv as well as in Washington, are, of course, completely ridiculous,” adding, “We understand extremely well that decisions regarding such actions, concerning such terrorist attacks, take place not in Kyiv but instead in Washington.”
Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is presently under investigation for lying to Congress when under oath, said that any assertions made by the Russian government should be treated with a “large grain of salt.”
White House National Security spokesman John Kirby categorically denied that the United States was involved in the strike, calling the charge “ludicrous. I can assure you that the United States had no involvement. Whatever it was, it had nothing to do with us,” Kirby said on MSNBC.
The Kremlin onslaught comes only days after Tucker Carlson, one of the most outspoken critics of the Biden regime’s confrontational and hazardous policies toward Russia, was silenced.
As an attack on the leader of a world power with the world’s most powerful nuclear arsenal — Russia — should not be taken lightly, the United States continued involvement in the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia undoubtedly brought the world one step closer to a much more extensive and catastrophic conflict — one which all responsible parties would be wise to stay away from..
