It’s the video everyone’s talking about — conservative activist Cam Higby pepper-spraying a protester outside Union Station in Washington, D.C. And no, this wasn’t some random street brawl. It was yet another example of what happens when the radical left thinks they can get away with attacking people just because they don’t like their politics.
Watch the moment unfold here:
Here’s what went down. Cam Higby, a conservative known for his “Fearless Tour” — where he takes the fight for free speech straight to college campuses — was out in D.C. after an event at the University of Maryland. He and his crew were talking with some protesters near Union Station. Nothing unusual about that.
But then a woman — already acting hostile — walked up and allegedly smacked him using his own MAGA hat. That’s when Higby pulled out a can of pepper spray and gave her a dose of reality.
And let’s be clear: this wasn’t some wild attack. Higby says he gave her four verbal warnings not to touch him. Four. He didn’t go out looking for a fight. He was just standing his ground, peacefully, until she made it physical.
After getting sprayed, the woman started crying out, and her fellow protesters rushed in to help rinse her eyes. But the drama didn’t stop there. U.S. Park Police showed up, and that’s when she apparently took her meltdown to a new level — resisting arrest and getting combative with officers. She was eventually detained and is now facing federal charges.
Actions, meet consequences.
Higby has made a name for himself by confronting far-left activists and exposing how unhinged things can get when you stand up for conservative values in liberal strongholds. This isn’t his first rodeo. Just earlier this month, he was attacked at an anti-ICE rally in Seattle. That’s right — attacked, not debated. The man had to start carrying Mace just to defend himself.
And what’s the left’s reaction to all this? They’re crying that Higby’s the problem. That his presence — or the signs he sometimes puts out for debate — are too provocative. Let’s be honest: since when did asking questions or wearing a red hat become a reason to get assaulted?
This time, Higby wasn’t even holding up signs or playing into any so-called “shock tactics.” He was just there to talk. And that, apparently, was enough to trigger a physical attack.
Higby says it best: “I personally think after four verbal warnings not to touch me, it would have been perfectly valid to use [pepper spray].” And he’s right. Nobody should have to accept getting hit just because they support the President or speak up for free speech.
This isn’t just about one pepper spray incident. It’s part of a bigger pattern we’ve seen for years. The left can’t win in a fair debate, so they try to shut it down — with shouting, with vandalism, and yes, sometimes with violence.
But Americans are waking up. They’re seeing the double standard. If the roles were reversed — if a conservative woman had lunged at a liberal activist and got sprayed — the media would be calling it self-defense. But because Higby wears a MAGA hat, they try to flip the story.
Not this time.
The video doesn’t lie. The facts are clear. And the law is finally catching up with those who think they can assault people without consequences.
It’s a new day in America. Free speech is back. And if you come swinging at someone just because you don’t like their politics, don’t be surprised if you end up in handcuffs — or wiping pepper spray out of your eyes.
