Pelosi Caught On Tape – Jan 6th Was HER

The Capital’s lack of protection was Nancy Pelosi’s fault, as Donald Trump has frequently blamed her, and new footage from House GOP investigators supports his claims.

Nancy Pelosi, the former Speaker of the House, acknowledged on camera that there was insufficient protection following the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

“You’re going to ask me if we should call the Capitol Police in the middle of the affair, after they’ve already broken the inaugural stuff. That’s the National Guard. Why hadn’t the National Guard been present from the start?

Terri McCullough, her chief of staff, retorted, “They thought that they had sufficient resources.”

“They don’t know how they had it; that’s not the question!” Pelosi answered. “I accept responsibility for not having them simply prepare for more, given that they evidently lacked knowledge.”

More at Just the News:

“Alexana Pelosi, Pelosi’s daughter, shot the film while assisting HBO in producing a documentary about the unrest on January 6. However, Republicans on the House Administration Oversight Subcommittee unveiled the tape on Monday after acquiring it from the TV network, which prevented it from airing in its entirety until then.”

Politico published a story on Pelosi’s response to the Capitol violence shown in the video on Sunday. However, the outlet, which independently examined the video, omitted a few of the most important quotations from above.”

“As several independent fact-checkers have attested, Speaker Pelosi was not the mastermind of her own assassination. That doesn’t change with selective, out-of-context video clips. House Republicans are still attempting to erase January 6th, three years later. It’s disgraceful, unpatriotic, and pitiful,” a Pelosi spokesman told Just the News.

House Republicans maintain that the footage totally refutes the narrative that Democrats have been promoting for the past three years, even if Pelosi’s team is downplaying its significance. Despite Trump’s repeated statements, Democrats have long held him accountable for the security lapses on that particular day.

A GOP report from 2022 claims that during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots, Pelosi and other congressional leaders were hesitant to use the National Guard at the outset because of worries about the way it would appear. Another factor that contributed to the delay was presumably Gen. Mark Milley’s worries about former President Trump possibly abusing the military for political ends.
