Jamal Bryant just proved, once again, why the Democratic plantation mentality is falling apart before our very eyes. The Georgia megachurch pastor ranted from the pulpit in a stunningly hateful tirade, attacking black Trump supporters as “coons” and “runaway slaves” for daring to think for themselves.

This meltdown came after a video from the White House’s Black History Month reception surfaced, showing entrepreneur and podcaster David Harris Jr. proudly hoisting a cardboard cutout of Bryant’s face. The sight of black conservatives celebrating at Trump’s White House was too much for Bryant to handle. Instead of engaging in a real conversation about why Trump is gaining historic support from black voters, he chose racial slurs, name-calling, and plantation politics to shame those who don’t bow to the Democratic Party.
Bryant’s tirade didn’t stop there. He compared black Trump supporters to slaves who refused to flee with Harriet Tubman, calling them tap-dancing for massa and telling them to “get out” and “stand with your people.”
Does he think black Americans can’t think for themselves? That they’re somehow obligated to vote Democrat forever just because race-baiting preachers like him say so?
This is the sheer desperation of a political movement losing its grip. Trump’s reelection shattered the myth that black Americans are locked in as permanent Democratic voters. In 2024, Trump won record levels of black support, including historic gains among black men who saw firsthand how Democratic policies have failed their communities.
Bryant can screech about Trump all he wants, but black Americans are waking up to the reality that Democrats have only offered them dependency, crime, and empty promises for decades. Trump, on the other hand, delivered record-low black unemployment, prison reform, and economic empowerment.
This isn’t 2020 anymore. The race-hustling, BLM-backed hysteria is over. Black Americans don’t need permission from Jamal Bryant to vote for economic opportunity, school choice, strong borders, and national security.
So go ahead, Pastor Bryant—keep screaming from the pulpit about how black Americans who support Trump are “coons.” Meanwhile, more and more black voters are walking away from the Democratic Party plantation—and they aren’t looking back.
