Parents Overthrow Woke Mob In Epic Victory

The Watertown Unified School Board in Wisconsin made headlines Monday by doing what most Americans would consider common sense: keeping boys out of girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms. By a decisive vote of 8-1, the board adopted “Plan C,” aligning restroom and sports participation policies with biological sex, according to Fox6 News Milwaukee. And let’s be clear—this wasn’t just some minor procedural change. This vote came after a heated meeting attended by over 450 people, proving just how fed up parents and community members are with woke overreach.

Under the new plan, students will only be allowed to use restrooms, locker rooms, and participate in sports teams that align with their biological sex. Exceptions can only be made through district-approved accommodations on a case-by-case basis. In other words, sanity has returned to Watertown schools, much to the dismay of the activists pounding on the cafeteria doors during the meeting.

“It’s so stressful for them to not be who they are,” one attendee lamented about transgender students, according to Fox6 News. But let’s be real: how stressful is it for young girls to feel unsafe or uncomfortable in their own bathrooms and locker rooms? A concerned man at the meeting cut through the noise: “I don’t want to see any kids get hurt. I don’t want to see any kids get taken advantage of.” Exactly. Protecting kids isn’t just about feelings—it’s about safety.

Despite the opposition, the board wisely rejected the alternative “Plan A,” which would’ve allowed boys identifying as girls to use female facilities and compete in girls’ sports. That idea might fly in a leftist fantasyland, but not in Watertown. “Plan C” also clarifies that staff are not required to use a student’s preferred pronouns or names unless it matches their legal name—another victory for reality.

Superintendent Jarred Burke said the district will continue to support all students, which includes working with families of transgender students through a “Gender Support Plan.” But with only 0.61% of students identifying as transgender, the board rightly focused on policies that protect the majority of students while maintaining fairness.

This decision is a win for families who are sick and tired of progressive activists trying to force their radical agenda into schools. Democrats may whine about inclusivity, but the rest of us know the truth: this isn’t about compassion—it’s about control. Watertown’s school board proved they won’t be bullied into abandoning common sense.
