The American Action Network (AAN), a group with close ties to the House GOP leadership, released a national study that revealed how popular the House Republicans’ “Commitment To America” is among potential voters in competitive and conservative congressional districts.
According to a news release, the survey indicated that the Republican Party’s policy initiatives are broadly supported by double-digit margins across the nation in both competitive and conservative congressional districts.
According to Breitbart News, the House Republicans unveiled the “Commitment to America” last week, a “core package of principles that fit on a pocket card meant to help them and their contenders effectively explain the GOP’s agenda in the midterm elections.”
Democrats in Congress don’t have a strategy to combat inflation, according to a net of 39% of Americans within conservative districts and a net of 22% of Americans in competitive districts. Furthermore, a net of 30% in conservative districts and a net of 22% in competitive districts concur that the Dems’ extravagant spending is a big factor in the fact that “living has now become unaffordable.”
Many respondents in Republican-leaning and competitive districts also stated that they would be likely to support a candidate who adheres to many of the principles outlined in the party’s “Commitment to America” on economic matters.

- Restoring supply chains from China: 61 percent in conservative areas and 47 percent in conflict areas
- 46 percent of conservatives and 22 percent of battlegrounds support cutting unnecessary expenditures.
- Removing oil and gas limitations to reduce gas prices: 41% in conservative areas and 21% in conflict areas
Crime:
- Sustaining prosecution of criminals by holding prosecutors accountable: 40% in the conservative sector and 21% in the battleground
- More police officers being hired: 37% in the conservative and 24% in the battleground
Border:
- 60 percent of conservatives support border security; 41% of battlegrounds do.
Education
- Protecting girls’ sports: 41% in traditional areas; 24% in conflict areas
- Parent’s Rights Act to guarantee educational transparency: 39% in conservative; 14% in battleground
“Leader McCarthy’s Commitment to America offers a roadmap for serious, common sense solutions that will turn our country around,” said AAN President Dan Conston.
Because they will boost the economy, restore public safety, and reduce costs for working people, the principles in this proposal “create widespread support with Americans of all stripes,” Conston continued.
American Viewpoint and Meeting Street performed the polls in competitive congressional districts from July 8 to July 13 and in safe GOP congressional districts from July 8 to July 11.
There were 1,073 likely voters in the competitive districts, with a 3% margin of error. There were 1,200 potential voters with a 2.8% margin of error in safe Republican seats. 95% of people are confident in both
