Bret Baier reported this week that four people working for Kamala Harris waved their arms and begged for the interview with Fox News Channel’s Special Report to stop. The interview was much-anticipated and received negative reviews.
Baier, who interviewed Kamala Harris, revealed the shocking incident that came after the interview. He said he had many questions he wanted to ask Harris but couldn’t.
“You know, I’m talking about four people waving their hands like, ‘Stop it!'” Baier told the group.
“I had to get off there at the end,” Baier said, talking about how the end of his interview with Harris was a mess.
That was the end of the interview. Baier told Harris, “Madam Vice President, they’re giving me a hard wrap.” He had seen that staff members were motioning for the interview to stop more than once.
Baier also said that the campaign was using tricks to “ice the kicker,” which could mean Baier.

He said after the interview, “They told us we could start at 5 p.m., but we showed up at this time. At first, we were going to do 25 or 30 minutes. They said there were maybe 20 of them. There were already cuts being made. The Vice President then showed up around 5:15. Being able to “turn it around” in time for the planned airing was very hard for us.”
Right away, Harris’s team started to paint the conversation as an unfair attack on the vice president. As soon as the interview was over, senior campaign aide David Plouffe complained in a tweet that Baier’s interview was an “ambush.”
