MAGA Surge Is HERE – Dems Horrified About November

Over the weekend, Donald Trump won another triumph when he defeated Republican opponent Nikki Haley in the South Carolina primary.

Upon the conclusion of the voting on Saturday at 7:00 p.m., Trump emerged victorious, securing the endorsements of all 29 state delegates. After casting 65% of the ballots, Trump was ahead by about 20 points.

“This came about a bit sooner than we had thought. And even a greater triumph than we expected,” Trump said following the victory while taking the stage at the South Carolina state fairgrounds in Columbia. “The Republican Party has never seemed so united as it does at this moment.”

Furthermore, Trump made no reference to Haley in his remarks.

Several well-known Republicans from South Carolina joined Trump on stage, including Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), who backed Trump even after he dropped out of the race despite Haley’s 2013 congressional nomination for him.

Audience members angrily jeered Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who had backed Trump but previously differed with him.

As the two-term governor of the Palmetto State, Haley was hoping her home state would outperform New Hampshire and Iowa. In her concession speech on Saturday night, she congratulated Trump on his victory but asserted that he is “not the Republican most likely to defeat United States President Joe Biden” come November.

She said that she wasn’t going to leave just yet.

“I observed South Carolina’s dissatisfaction with the way that our nation is heading today. At a campaign rally, Haley remarked, “I’ve seen that sense of discontent across the country.” “This has never had anything to do with me or my political career. In November, we have to defeat Joe Biden. She said that Trump “drives people away” and that “I don’t think Donald Trump can beat Joe Biden.”

“A significant portion of people in our Republican primary are expressing a desire for an alternative,” she continued.

Trump is coming closer to obtaining the GOP nomination after his victory in South Carolina. He had collected nine more of the 21 delegates that the congressional district results had allotted by 9:00 p.m. when the ballots started to come in.

In the 2024 election cycle, Trump has won all of the primary contests thus far, easily defeating his rivals in Nevada, Iowa, New Hampshire, and the US Virgin Islands.

Trump assembled a group of surrogates, including 2024 candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and Lara Trump, to campaign on his behalf in South Carolina the week before the primary.

Speaking Friday night in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to a crowd of around 6,000 people, Trump said that Haley is “not a kind person” and that she would have a “very difficult day” on Saturday.

Haley’s removal from the race is something that Trump supporters, such as the former president and previous presidential candidate Senator Tim Scott, have expressed their desire for, claiming that Haley is “hurting the country.”
