California Republican candidate for governor Larry Elder said if he is elected, he’ll remove mask and vaccine mandates.
“When I become governor, assuming there are still mandates for vaccines and mandates for face masks, there will be a repeal,” Elder told an audience on the campaign trail.
Elder didn’t stop there. “I’m going to declare a statewide emergency on water. We have a water shortage.
The conservative candidate also wants to address the state’s growing homeless population in a way that actually helps those in need.
Elder is tired of the state’s overreach in terms of pandemic restrictions and is ready to take the path of leading conservative states like Texas and Florida. Democrats act like that’s a bad thing, but many across the state are beginning to wake up to the fact that the recall could make an abrupt and positive change for conservative values in the Golden State.
He wants to deliver the California dream to all Californians, according to the video. Not sure about meeting everyone’s dreams, but he’ll make a lot of people happy by simply bringing some conservative common sense to the state’s radical leftist agenda.
He just has to get elected first.
We’ll soon know if Elder’s message pays off at the ballot box. If so, California may once again be a place where Americans want to visit rather than somewhere they choose to avoid.
