How much longer must law-abiding Americans watch as radical mobs reduce our once-proud cities to rubble? In Los Angeles this weekend, violent anti-ICE rioters have transformed downtown into a scene straight out of a dystopian nightmare. Masked thugs brazenly looted businesses, smashing windows and grabbing whatever they could carry, all under the pretense of “protesting” immigration enforcement efforts.
This chaos began after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents carried out their legal duty, apprehending around 150 illegal immigrants in recent raids, including a high-profile operation at a Home Depot in Paramount, California. Far from peaceful protest, the situation quickly spiraled into lawlessness as mobs descended upon downtown LA. Video footage clearly shows criminals storming T-Mobile and Foot Locker stores, smashing through plate glass windows, and fleeing into the night with armfuls of stolen merchandise.

One particularly disturbing video recorded the moment a masked looter stole a giant promotional teddy bear from T-Mobile, prompting laughter and cheers from an unruly crowd. Another looter brazenly emptied a fire extinguisher into the street, creating a chemical cloud while drivers watched helplessly from their cars. The aftermath of the looting spree resembles a war zone, with stores virtually picked clean and alarms wailing uselessly in the night.
This is not legitimate protest. This is criminality pure and simple—enabled and encouraged by radical leftist policies that put sanctuary city politics above law and order. These riots are occurring precisely because city leaders in LA have refused to enforce immigration laws and have actively tied the hands of local law enforcement. This dangerous policy has emboldened radicals to believe they can terrorize the streets without consequence.
President Trump, recognizing the gravity of the situation, has taken swift action by deploying 2,000 National Guard members to restore order and protect innocent citizens. While liberals howl and complain, claiming such measures are excessive, the President understands a fundamental truth that escapes his critics: without law and order, there is no freedom.

The sheer scale of the unrest is shocking: more than 1,000 violent agitators have clashed with police over the past three days, resulting in dozens of arrests and injuries to several brave law enforcement officers. Yet, LA’s liberal politicians continue to play political games, refusing to confront the very real threat that unchecked illegal immigration poses to public safety and community stability.
We must be clear—what is happening in Los Angeles is not isolated. Across Democrat-controlled cities, radical groups have grown increasingly bold, using immigration enforcement as a pretext for violence and disorder. This crisis is a direct result of years of liberal policies that have eroded respect for law enforcement and prioritized the interests of criminals over the safety of citizens.
President Trump campaigned—and won—on a promise to restore law and order, to protect our borders, and to put America First. He was elected precisely because ordinary Americans are tired of watching their great nation descend into chaos. Now, he is delivering on that promise, standing strong against the forces of lawlessness and disorder.
It is long past time for elected leaders across America to follow the President’s example and take a hard stand against radical rioters who threaten the safety and security of our communities. We must reject the liberal narrative that excuses criminality by labeling it as protest, and we must demand accountability from those who incite and participate in these destructive rampages.
America cannot survive if our cities become playgrounds for radical extremists and lawless mobs. The only path forward is clear: enforce our laws, secure our borders, and restore order.
