Kamala Harris crumbled during another live interview on Thursday, this time snapping at a Univision reporter asking when she will visit the U.S.-Mexican border.
“I’ve said I’m gonna go to the border! And I-” Harris said in the exchange.
“When are you going to the border, Vice President?” the Univision reporter interrupted.
“I’m not finished! I said I’m going to the border,” Harris answered.
Kamala Harris told the reporter she would “keep her posted” regarding specific dates.
It’s the latest in a serious of interview meltdowns by the vice president. When pressed on visiting the border, she continues to dodge a direct answer, only saying she’ll visit some day.
But some day has been at least 79 days and counting since being tapped as Biden’s immigration response leaders. Harris has traveled all over America, and now to Guatemala and Mexico City.
Some Republican Reps. have visited the border several times over the past 10-plus weeks she has continued to put off the important leadership task of viewing the immigration crisis in person.
After telling NBC’s Lester Holt she “hasn’t been to Europe either,” not much remains but to snap and shake her finger at reporters who refuse to give Harris a pass on the border visit question.
