Joy Behar is back at it, folks — running her mouth on The View and throwing more shade than a solar eclipse.
On Tuesday’s episode, Behar claimed that Republicans are just too “scared” to come on the show. Yep, you heard that right. According to Joy, GOP lawmakers are shaking in their boots at the thought of sitting across from her and the rest of that liberal panel.
“I think that we should have more Republicans on the show, but they don’t want to come on, they’re scared of us,” Behar said, with her usual smug grin. She even dragged Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene into the conversation, twisting Greene’s words to fit her own narrative.
Here’s what MTG actually said: “A lot of the men here in the House are weak. There’s a lot of weak Republican men and they’re more afraid of strong Republican women.” That’s Greene calling out her own party’s internal drama, not giving Joy Behar a free pass to paint all Republicans as cowards.
But that didn’t stop Behar. She paraphrased Greene and claimed, “Marjorie Taylor Greene says that she finds the Republican men are afraid of powerful women.” Then she added, “Well, that may be true of all political persuasions, but if they would come on this show and they can explain to us what they’re trying to do to this country. I’d like to hear it.”
Here’s the real issue: Republicans don’t avoid The View because they’re scared. They avoid it because it’s a nonstop ambush. Conservatives walk onto that set knowing full well they’re stepping into a lion’s den of left-wing talking points, cherry-picked outrage, and eye-rolls for days.
Check out the clip for yourself:
To be fair, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin did try to throw a bone, reminding everyone that Senator Ted Cruz has been on the show before. She even floated names like Rep. Thomas Massie as potential guests. So maybe, just maybe, they’re open to actual debate — but let’s not pretend it would be a fair fight. The deck is always stacked.
Then things got even more awkward when actress Cheryl Hines showed up to talk about her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Now that RFK Jr. has endorsed President Trump, the ladies on The View didn’t waste any time grilling her about it.
Hostin jumped in with this gem: “It was striking, given the Kennedy name and Kennedy legend with the Democratic Party.” Translation: How dare a Kennedy step off the Democrat plantation?
But Hines wasn’t having it. She calmly explained that her husband made a tough call and joined forces with Trump because they actually have common goals — especially when it comes to crushing Big Pharma.
She even brought up Trump’s “Most-Favored-Nation” executive order, which tackled the outrageous prices Americans pay for prescription drugs. Hines said, “We’ve been paying twice as much, ten times as much, for pharmaceutical drugs in America than other countries,” and that both Trump and RFK Jr. want to fix that. Sounds like common sense, right?
Look, The View loves to act like they’re open to other opinions — as long as those opinions come with a full apology and a signed loyalty pledge to the liberal agenda. Republicans aren’t scared. They’re just not dumb enough to walk into a trap and pretend it’s a conversation.
Joy Behar and her co-hosts can keep throwing stones from their glass studio. But if they really want serious political discussion, maybe they should start by actually listening — instead of shouting down every conservative voice that dares to walk through the door.
