Hollywood just can’t help itself.
Actor John Cusack, best known for holding a boombox over his head in the ‘80s, is now holding a grudge against President Trump—and he wants the whole country to know it. During a “No Kings” protest in Chicago, Cusack told CNN his message for Trump was simple: “Go to hell.” Classy, right?
The actor joined a crowd of anti-Trump demonstrators Saturday in what organizers called a “No Kings” protest. These rallies popped up in cities all across the country, claiming to stand against what they call “authoritarianism.” But let’s be honest—this is just another Hollywood temper tantrum because Trump is in charge and doing what he promised: cleaning house and cutting back bloated government.
Cusack, who’s been on a far-left rant for years, didn’t hold back when speaking to CNN. “If [Trump] thinks this place is going to be a fascist hub—no chance,” he said, referring to Chicago, a city that’s been run by Democrats for decades and is now overrun with crime and corruption. The irony is thick.
He then added, “Go to hell,” saying that was the message from the city. Real brave stuff, John. Nothing says “revolution” like an actor yelling at the sky during a weekend protest.
But this isn’t just about Cusack. The “No Kings” movement started earlier this year on President’s Day, supposedly outraged over Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, which has been slashing unnecessary spending and eliminating waste. You’d think these folks would be happy someone’s finally doing the job, but no—less government means less power for the people they worship in D.C., and they can’t handle it.
Things heated up in June when the President held a military parade to honor the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. The event also happened to fall on Trump’s 79th birthday, which sent the left into a total meltdown. That’s when the “No Kings” movement really caught fire, turning into a nationwide campaign against the Trump administration.
Now, let’s be clear—these protests aren’t about stopping tyranny. They’re about stopping Trump. Period. The left can’t stand that he’s back in the White House, restoring order and putting America first again. So instead, they throw around words like “fascist” and “authoritarian” while ignoring the chaos in their own backyard.
Cusack even claimed there are “masked goons roaming the streets, hiding their faces, abducting people.” Sounds like something out of a bad movie script—or maybe he’s confusing real life with one of his old films. Either way, it’s fear-mongering nonsense.
Comedian Jimmy Kimmel also jumped on the bandwagon, comparing these protests to the American Revolution. Seriously? The founding fathers fought for freedom, not for the right to whine on CNN and bash the President every time he cuts government waste. Comparing these spoiled activist stunts to 1776 is just plain insulting.
And let’s not forget—these are the same people who stayed quiet when the government was bloated, the border was wide open, and American jobs were being shipped overseas. Now that Trump is back and actually getting things done, they’re suddenly waving protest signs and pretending to be patriots.
At the end of the day, the “No Kings” crowd isn’t fighting for liberty—they’re fighting to keep the swamp alive. And John Cusack? He’s just another Hollywood actor playing a part, hoping someone’s still listening.
Sorry, John. America’s not buying it. We’ve got a real leader in the White House again, and no amount of celebrity drama is going to change that.
