Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan unleashed a verbal tirade against Democrat Jerry Nadler recently during a Judiciary Committee meeting, leaving the leftist scrambling to recover in a can’t miss moment.
“What are our colleagues on the other side of the aisle afraid of? They’re afraid of videos of parents,” Jordan said.
After much bickering about objections, Jordan added more.
“It’s a video about parents at school board meetings. Moms and dads speaking at school board meetings and you guys aren’t going to let us play it.”
More objections were added. Jordan used every interruption he could, offering a quick conclusion.
“Obviously, you’re not going to let us play it. Obviously, you’re going to censor us which is sort of the conduct of the left today it seems, and Democrats today. I yield back,” Jordan ended.
It may not seem like much, but here’s the context. Democrats are furious at the attention over school board meetings in Virginia. The Democratic governor of the state is in a heated reelection battle that is starting to look bad for the left.
Every time another Loudoun County school board meeting is shown that reveals an unreported rape or a parent hauled out by police for protesting the left’s critical race theory, the Democrats look worse. The response? Hide it, just like Nadler sought to do in his battle with Jordan.
