IRS informant Gary Shapley claimed that Hunter Biden’s special counsel U.S. Attorney David Weiss lacks credibility in a segment of “The Story” on the Fox News Channel, which aired this week. He also asked for “a special counsel to look into this investigation.” And that involves what U.S. Attorney Weiss along with Attorney General Garland have done, what they have said to Congress, and what they have written to Congress.”
Shapley said, “So, the fact that David Weiss is still a special counsel in this investigation just makes the American people wonder a lot. At this point, he has no respect at all. In this study, he used the cards he had. He chose what the charges would be. Based on the information that came out this past week, there was a time when he wasn’t even planning on charging him. And he ended up being the part of the investigation that stopped the stages of the investigation from happening.”
Later, he said, “Well, the thing we truly need is a special counsel to look into this case. This includes what U.S. Attorney Weiss and Attorney General Garland did, as well as what they said to Congress and what they wrote to Congress. As more evidence becomes available, it is repeatedly demonstrated that the information provided to Congress and the American public was inaccurate. At the end of the day, I stood up for the American people and placed my own life in danger for them. Finally, they must have faith that this inquiry is being conducted impartially and independently.”
