Illegals Issue Demands – Who Do They Think They ARE?

According to KDVR, a sizable number of undocumented immigrants recently emailed Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) a long list of demands because they would not take down their camp and relocate into shelters paid for by the taxpayers.

The organization has consistently turned down Denver Human Services’ offer to relocate the illegal immigrants into indoor shelter facilities. Rather, the people have pitched tents beneath a railroad overpass.

“We are not lawbreakers, and we shall not face such treatment,” the group of undocumented immigrants declared on their letterhead.

“We have been giving time and shelter, basically just trying to convince families to leave that camp and come inside,” Denver Human Services’ Jon Ewing said to KDVR.

According to Ewing, the taxpayer-funded shelters offer “three square meals a day” and let undocumented immigrants prepare their own food if they so desire. Furthermore, those who choose to remain in the shelters frequently receive help in submitting an application for a work visa.

The group’s supporter, V Reeves, told the news site that the undocumented immigrants “came up with a list of requests as a collective.”

Before the illegal immigrants would be prepared to leave the streets and relocate into a shelter, the city would need to consent to the 13 requests mentioned in the document that was given to the mayor.

Reeves clarified that the city dispatched a bus to pick up the illegal aliens and take them to an indoor shelter, defying the group’s list of requests.

“They dispatched buses to arrest people this morning without showing that paperwork or having a signature to prove who was responsible,” Reeves claimed.

According to Reeves, one of the undocumented immigrants’ main complaints has been the meals that the city provides and that taxpayers pay for.

According to Reeves, KDVR received a lot of complaints regarding children’s malnutrition and damaged or insufficient meals. “They really need official housing or immigration paperwork assistance to be able to work through the complexity of these systems, but they are not getting any of it.”

Ewing clarified that if the illegal immigrants relocated into a shelter instead of the campsite, the city would offer many of the services they require.

“What are your qualifications? “For what are you ineligible? “Is there any viable way for you to achieve success other than living on the streets of Denver?” He inquired about the news organization. “We make an effort to reach a consensus. We attempt to solve a puzzle. Families living on Denver’s streets are ultimately something we do not desire.”
