The Biden-era illegal immigration crisis just hit another level of insanity—this time with direct leaks from within the system helping Venezuelan gang members evade arrest.
Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan revealed this week that someone leaked the details of an ICE raid in Colorado, allowing Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang members to escape before agents arrived.

Leaked Intel Allowed Criminals to Flee
Homan told Fox News correspondent Harris Faulkner that when ICE agents raided the Cedar Run apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, they found nothing. Apartments once occupied by illegal immigrants tied to the violent Venezuelan gang were empty.
“We’re addressing that immediately today – Operation Security – how these leaks are happening,” Homan said. “We’ve already identified how this operation got leaked. I’ll deal with that today.”
Activists were also on site with bullhorns, actively warning illegal immigrants about the ICE operation. Instead of keeping communities safe, they chose to protect criminals, putting law enforcement officers at risk in the process.
Homan Targets Those Responsible for Interference
Homan is not letting this go. He confirmed he is already working with the Department of Justice to see if activists or anyone involved in leaking ICE’s plans can be prosecuted.

Interfering with a federal operation isn’t just reckless—it’s criminal. But under the Biden administration, leftist activists have been emboldened to put the safety of criminals above law-abiding citizens.
Tren de Aragua’s Reign of Terror in Colorado
The Tren de Aragua gang, an organized crime group that originated in Venezuela, has taken full advantage of Biden’s open border policies. These criminals have turned apartment complexes into their own crime hubs, extorting tenants, selling drugs, and even engaging in human trafficking.
In one instance at the Whispering Pines apartment complex in Aurora, TdA members threatened to kill the property manager after he refused to let them continue their criminal activities. They told a housekeeper, “This is our business plan,” warning that if the property manager didn’t comply, “we’ll fill him with bullets.”
A tenant at the same complex was stabbed by the gang for refusing to pay them “rent.”
At another complex, an employee of CBZ Management was brutally beaten and left covered in blood by TdA members after confronting them about taking over vacant apartments. Security footage captured part of the attack, a stark reminder of the unchecked violence pouring across the border.
Biden’s Policies Fueled the Chaos
This is what happens when an administration refuses to secure the border. Biden’s policies directly enabled TdA’s takeover of communities in Colorado and across the country. These aren’t just illegal immigrants looking for work—they’re organized criminals running extortion rings, selling drugs, and engaging in child trafficking.
Now, under Trump’s leadership, the fight to take back American communities is underway. But as this latest leak proves, the sabotage from within is real.
