Gov. Mike Huckabee shares his thoughts on being a proud American, what it means to live in this country, and more in his latest video on the absolute proof of America’s greatness.
Huckabee said, “When I see professional athletes who live like princes and make millions to play a game turn around and disrespect our flag and National Anthem because they think America is so rotten, I wonder why don’t they just go play football in Cuba or North Korea or China?”
He added, “If Hollywood’s actors who read other people’s words for a living hate the nation that lets them get paid big bucks pretending to be other people, wouldn’t it make sense to be authentic about the disdain for America?”
He defended the greatness of the nation, saying, “In America, you don’t have to stay or stop where you started. You can start in poverty and work your way to prosperity. You can be the very first in your family to get a good education, and you’re not held back if you can do the job.”
The refreshing, patriotic words are what Americans need to hear. Instead of liberals bashing the country, Huckabee reminds us of why our nation is still the best place to live on earth.
