Inflation under President Joe Biden became so pronounced, it earned its own term: “Bidenflation.” The skyrocketing prices of gas, groceries, and everyday goods aren’t the result of some economic anomaly; they’re the direct consequences of reckless government policies and unchecked spending. Yet, Democrats continue to act as though the laws of economics don’t apply to them. Spoiler alert: they do.
Biden’s administration has overseen a staggering expansion of the federal budget, with trillions in spending that fueled inflation like gasoline on a fire. Economists have been warning for years that when the government prints money without increasing the value of goods and services in the economy, inflation is inevitable. Yet Biden’s team moved full speed ahead with “stimulus” and “relief” bills, apparently assuming the American people wouldn’t notice the rising costs. But with record-high inflation hitting the pocketbooks of every American, it’s clear that assumption was dead wrong.
Then, there’s the war on American energy. Biden’s climate crusade put a target on the back of the U.S. energy sector, making it far more difficult for domestic producers to keep up with demand. Biden canceled pipelines, halted leases, and imposed endless regulations on oil and gas producers, essentially outsourcing American energy needs to foreign players. With OPEC and Russia playing games with oil prices, Americans are left holding the bill at the gas pump. A quick look back at Trump’s energy policy shows a different story. Trump prioritized American energy independence, driving down fuel costs and giving Americans relief at the pump. Biden, on the other hand, appears content with importing energy from our adversaries, all in the name of “green” policies that aren’t doing a thing to reduce inflation.
What about the supply chain? Biden’s response to ongoing supply chain issues has been lukewarm at best, while the administration continues to talk in circles instead of taking meaningful action. It’s not just ports and transport routes; the labor shortage, fueled by endless government handouts, has left businesses struggling to keep up with demand. Democrats’ lavish unemployment benefits and stimulus checks encouraged many able-bodied workers to stay home, leaving critical industries short-staffed.
The Federal Reserve has tried to intervene by raising interest rates, a move that will slow inflation but also hurts Americans by raising the cost of mortgages, car loans, and credit cards. People are paying more for everything, from housing to healthcare to hamburgers. And what do Democrats do? They shrug their shoulders and blame “global conditions.” But Americans know better; this inflation is homemade, courtesy of Bidenomics.
Bidenflation is the product of careless economic policies, misguided environmental goals, and a government unwilling to address the real issues. While Democrats push more spending, Republicans are ready to rein in government overreach and restore economic sanity. America’s economy doesn’t need more lectures about climate change; it needs practical solutions to lower costs for hardworking families. That’s where conservative policies shine. After all, a prosperous America starts with fiscal responsibility, energy independence, and policies that put the American worker first.
