Hillary Clinton was asked on “CBS Sunday Morning” if she would work for Harris-Walz if she became president. The former Secretary of State said she was open to “anything.”
Clinton replied, “Of course, I want to be as helpful as I can. If asked, I would do anything to be helpful. Everyone needs to work together because we have a lot to do. Anyone who can help should be ready to do so.”
She went on, “Even though things are hard, I have such a positive outlook about our country. My late friend Madeleine Albright used to say that I worry a lot but am an optimist. But in general, I’m hopeful.”
Clinton also said. “I am very hopeful about a Harris-Walz government because I believe it can not only handle all the problems we already know about but also possibly cool down the country. Kamala would be president of all Americans, not just half of the country, because she really cares about the country and wants to bring it together.”
“Maybe we can break the fever,” she said in the end. “Now let’s take a few deep breaths and figure out how to work together. There are lots of things we could do together if we would just talk, listen, and find common ground. So, I believe they have the power to make that happen for our country.”
